Everyone sees that look in her eyes
A faraway thought is there
With every pause life brings
Her eyes look away and stare
Could it be me in those dreamy eyes?
I don’t have to dream alone
She’s always been in my thoughts
Whenever my mind would roam
My life’s intention
Every desire
Is to do what I can
To find that fire
We’re not good at working things out
I can act like the worst buffoon
But I promise with all my heart
Not to give her a single wound
So if you see her dreaming
Gazing out into the blue
Please just let her know
That I am dreaming too.
